Abstract:In the era of increasing popularity of civil aircraft, the problem of environmental pollution caused by aircraft exhaust emis? sions in the atmosphere is becoming increasingly prominent. Engine carbon emissions need to be further reduced, and using hydrogen energy provides the possibility of achieving zero carbon emissions. The characteristics of hydrogen and different hydrocarbon fuels are Introduced, and the advantages of hydrogen as a fuel for aeroengines and gas turbines, as well as the many challenges brought by pure hydrogen/hydrogen-hydrocarbon mixture fuel in the design of the main combustion chamber, are elaborated. Based on the basic characteristics of hydrogen and hydrocarbon fuels such as aviation kerosene, pure hydrogen and hydrogen-hydrocarbon mixture fuel nozzle technology are studied, and the application and nozzle design technology of hydrogen fuel in aeroengines and gas turbines are summarized and discussed. At the same time, considering the impact of hydrogen fuel addition on combustion stability, emissions, and flame propaga? tion speed, the key technologies for the development of hydrogen fuel nozzles are elaborated, including hydrogen combustion organization and nozzle design, low NO X emission hydrogen combustion, hydrogen combustion flashback prevention, and hydrogen combustion instabil? ity suppression, providing new ideas for the design of combustion chamber nozzles for hydrogen fuel aeroengines.
